Heavy Duty suck in a hole!

as many of you know, i have no life and i spend a lot of time surfing the web in my free time- surfing anything towing related-- i know, im a loser- but it makes me happy!!!

anyway,

on there, they have pics of them recovering a heavy duty that some how got stuck in the ditch- very cool pics. i have no other info about this recovery, how it got stuck or whos truck it is..... but, you can bet- i will find out!!!

i have always found it very amusing to see wreckers in compermising positions, it always seems so ironic- of corce, i am no stranger to getting stuck, so i feel bad for these guys- it is very embarising

i can not make much comment about this recovery because i do not have all the nessessary info

what i will say is: when you are pulling anything and your wreckers wheels come off the ground, you need to stop and come up with a different plan. when your wheels come off the ground, you are not only deeling with the resistence of the recovery, but you just added the entire front end weight of your truck on thoes lines, you have overextended your lines

as you can see, this also takes away from the friction that holds the truck in place, they have went way over the booms rating and the lines. if you find your self getting into this type of situation, i strongly recomend that you stop and get another wrecker to help or get some sort of dead man to puill from.
