whats new and some misc

I just got a phone call from a market research company and they want me to come in to there place in Deerfield and talk about tow trucks and they will pay me $145.00 for 45min of my time. I am happy as a clam- this is very cool!

I had the root canal finished yesterday (I thought they were done last week) it was uncomfortable and it is painful but I am on darvicet and I am a bit f*cked up. The doc said the pain should be relatively gone in the next few days.  

I am working on getting a part-time job and I am putting together a comprehensive resume packet. As most of you know, the towing industry is not geared for part-time workers. The whole business is completely unpredictable and un-schedulable. I am sending a few resumes to towing companies and asking that if a part-time is not feasible, that maybe they would keep my in mind for the times when man power is needed and for big recoveries. I would even be available to do some long distance work on my days off from the Tollway. But I am focusing on trucking companies that do some air freight work. They pay decent, they are busy and just maybe I can get something to fit the part-time hours I need. So, well see and I will keep you all posted...
