Oversized rollover

There was an awesome rollover last week involving a oversized load. The truck was loaded with a prefabricated concrete highway ramp. The police called Hillside towing and the company called Ernie�s Towing. Hillside brought out 2 trucks and Ernie�s had 3 heavies out there. I have been told that this load is over 100,000 lbs!!! as you can see, this load is very wide and as such is set on a pivot point which off sets the load at an angle so as the truck is traveling down the road it is not as wide. The Recovery teams decided they would have 2 wreckers lift the load and they would use 3 heavies to pull the truck over. Because of the unusual load, you need to look closely at how and where you hook up to. The load is secured to the trailer by chains attached to some points on the top of the concrete slab. Make sure those points are strong enough to withstand the forces of the recovery.
